Super exciting newly created Creative and Content department of a fun boutique independent full service agency, is looking for an account executive to join their growing and ambitious team in Sydney.

Due to client demand and the huge new win of a major brand (Headspace), they are going to be expanding rapidly with a lot of exciting projects to be delivered. They work across creative, blogs, partnerships, influencer, content, strategy, community management, video creation, display, digital assets etc … you name it!

They are looking for an account executive with a strong personality, excellent client servicing skills, and a passion for detail.

As Account Executive,

  • Your role will be managing day-to-day client communications whilst keeping the creative team on track. You would be the conduit between the two.
  • You will report directly to the Strategy and Content Director.
  • Discuss existing brand strategies with clients and help develop advertising campaigns that are on brief
  • Support in presenting creative proposals to clients for approval, making sure all components are in line with the brand
  • Deliver completed projects to the client on time
  • Manages budgets for multiple accounts
  • Brief the community, creative and media teams as required

This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to develop themselves and get hands on training with some amazing clients and a team around them.

You would get access not only to the creative team, but also the media teams – so will gain lots of learning around how media and creative work cohesively together on plans and projects.

You will get training  on client management, reporting, stakeholder management, WIP/meeting management, creative communications, project management and sales tactics.

There is also opportunity to progress and develop your career down a few routes – be it staying within account management, or moving into strategy (where you can help with briefs) or business development (you could get involved with new business conversations.) This is very much an agency that develops their teams from within and provide opportunities for growth.

This role would suit someone in an account executive, account management or hybrid account management/project management role at a creative, strategy or content agency that is looking to take on more responsibility with a smaller agency and some awesome clients.

You must be:

  • Structured and organised.
  • Strong communicator and experience managing clients.
  • Able to work to timelines and deadlines.
  • Understand the types of projects and nuances of a creative or content agency.
  • Experience working with creatives and keeping them and their work flow organised.
  • Understand the challenges creatives have and the different processes of scopes of work.
