Independent Global digital marketing and performance agency with an entrepreneurial and growing office here in Sydney is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience working for an agency selling digital marketing / media / performance services (SEM/Paid Search, SEO, Display, Social Media, Creative, Data Analytics.)

You would work closely with the senior leaders within the team to scope out new business opportunities and execute the sales cycle from end to end.

You would be identifying, qualifying and reaching out to a range of industries by phone, email and industry events to spread the awareness of the agency and its services to the Australian market.

You would be speaking to marketers and owners of medium and blue chip clients and you must have previous success in winning new business selling digital marketing, performance or creative channels for an agency.

 

As Business development manager, you would be responsible for:

 

  • Managing all outreach programmes to prospective clients – finding, generating new leads through to pitching, negotiating and closing project deals.
  • Managing your activity on their CRM
  • Researching industry trends, company news and personnel changes on the web to inform outreach strategy
  • Researching competitors offerings
  • Networking at events and helping to run internal though leadership sessions.
  • Working collaboratively with the teams with pitch decks and presentations
  • Working with the external PR team to drive targeted messages and leads
  • Working with the CEO to develop targeted Marketing campaigns for Australia & APAC

Who you will be:

  • You must have experience with digital marketing, performance or creative channels such as Search Engine Marketing, Paid Search, Programmatic, SEO, Display, Paid Social or Analytics.
  • You will have approx. 3 years’ experience
  • You must have proven experience in sales and business development ideally for an agency.
