One of the most exciting multimedia brands in Australia with an amazing culture and some of the most innovative minds in the market leading the growth of the business is looking for a Commercial Product & Solutions Strategist who will be responsible for all new digital product & proactive launches.
They have some really exciting new digital product and site launches happening this year and leading the way of OTT, connected TV, Branded content, and premium video etc – so lots of cool things to work on.
This role is really the lynch pin between all teams – digital sales, editorial, programming, social, adtech, ad ops, product, broadcast, marketing, activations, integration etc.
Its very varied and they need someone well versed in digital media product, strategy, and content with exceptional communication and presentation skills that wants to manage both internal and external stakeholders with the ability to develop reactive and proactive strategic solutions that connect with their audience with clients’ brand objectives based on consumer insights and data.
You would work closely with digital sales to understand the market needs then lead brainstorms with the commercial product manager to develop & deliver best-in-market solutions that meet these needs.
You will be helping to create go to market strategies for different products.
You will become the subject matter expert and the voice for all digital products. You will be a resource for sales on knowledge.
There will also be an external element to the role where you will be client facing presenting insights and evangelising the product set.
You will have the opportunity to really understand what a client and agency needs and translate into the product team for updates and new releases.
You will be working on any large strategic responses to campaign briefs – anything multi channel and over $150k.
WHO WILL YOU BE?
- They need someone that can help influence the digital sales team to be more strategic and solutions focused in the sales approach, instead of transactional and tactical.
- You will have experience building strategic digital media responses and plans
- Experience in a strategy or product media role within a publisher or media agency in a digital strategy, commercial product, planning / buying, commercial solutions, brand strategy, commercial insights type role.
- Someone that thrives in change and wants to be a part of building out things as it’s a start up entrepreneurial digital dept within a big established and respected brand. So building out new process as they mature.
- Someone that’s empathic yet can be tough at the same time… knows how to work closely with the sales team but can also act as the educator and big brother/big sister to help them start to work differently
