At Infinite Talent we currently have an exciting new permanent job opportunity! We are looking for a Third Party Logistics (3PL) Controller to come and join one of our leading Distribution clients based in Burton.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of contact between business partners and 3PL’s
• Monitor the 3PL booking schedule
• Notify business partners of supplier failures and non-conformance
• Book stock in via WMS once confirmed by 3PL from POD’s
• Monitor goods out process completed by the transport department for OTIF and resolve discrepancies or issues found
• Daily analysis of stock data from WMS and 3PL to confirm stock alignment and where appropriate reconciliation after thorough investigation
• Manage returns process between 3PL and business partners
• Take ownership to the point of successful resolution of supplier invoice queries, through liaison with business partners
• Complete quarterly stock audits on site with 3PL’s
• Weekly meetings/ calls with 3PL’s

Experience and Additional Requirements

• Previous stock control, logistics or 3PL experience required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of working in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of Red Prairie / BDM – preferable
• Confident and able to speak to all stakeholder levels
