Application Support Engineer

Duration: Contract – 3 months initially – will extend

Location: Remote (2 days a week in Manchester post Covid)

Day rate: £450 per day (outside of IR35) – flexible shift patterns and on call

Start date: 1st March or 8th March

Digital Gurus are currently recruiting for an Application Support Engineer with strong experience building CI/CD pipelines, supporting enterprise level applications and working with scripting languages. This person will also have a good understanding of Azure and deployment of software.

Skills Required:-

  • Building CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience as 2nd or 3rd line application support engineer
  • Experience in supporting application used at enterprise level.
  • Scripting (SQL, Powershell etc)
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence (Atlassian Suite)
  • Experience with software deployment processes
  • Problem solving nature
  • Puppet/Bamboo/Tomcat
  • Linux
  • AppDynamics
