What are your specialist areas?
Development in the North West – More specifically within Java across both contract and permanent. I cover all levels as long as it falls within the above!
Why should you be my Guru?
I started my recruitment journey on the Java recruitment market-based in the south where I was working across a broad range of skills for 2 years, which equips me with the knowledge and network with some of the best candidates out there. Naturally, when moving up North I stayed with the technology that I recruited for the most and I’m growing that day by day with a great company!
I care about delivering a great service to both candidates and clients and in the North – I’m putting a big focus on networking events, partnering with people closely and offering unrivalled hiring options to those I’m working with.
What’s your background?
Have I mentioned I’m from London originally? I’ve worked for 2 years in the development market and have ingrained myself with candidates and clients alike! Before this, I was living it up on Ski and Summer Seasons following my studies at the University of Kent doing Business Studies.
Why did you join Digital Gurus?
I wanted to join a business that valued quality over quantity and Digital Gurus is more than I could have hoped for! Putting candidate needs first and running regular tech meetups was really important to me in my market.
Digital Gurus is completely different to the stereotype of what the world of recruitment is like. To be a part of a leading digital firm with a genuine interest in the digital space as well as working alongside some great people who are leading industry experts – I’d be mad to say no.
Horses, nature, skiing and anything that seems like an adventure! And of course, the odd drink here and there or takeaway on the sofa!
Full voicemail boxes – sorry, it’s a recruitment thing!
