Are you and experienced Business Development Professional seeking an opportunity to join a very well established and successful IT Services business? Do you have experience of selling IBM Cloud Services Solutions or Cloud Software Solutions coupled with the ability to take ownership and accountability for developing your own business? If so, our UK based client may be able to offer you the opportunity you are looking for as Business Development Director.

You will sit as part of a new business sales team where you will be accountable for developing your own business with a value of in excess of £1 million per annum. You will develop business with ISV, MSP, CSP’s and select software resellers as well as a number of existing and inflight customers.

What are we looking for in terms of experience?

  • IT Business to Busines sales
  • Experience around IBM midrange/mainframe highly advantageous
  • Experience of selling Power/Cloud/Service Solutions
  • A demonstrable background in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • The ability to generate new lead
  • The ability to foster and develop effective working relationships

The person we are looking for will be extremely driven, motivated and have a real desire to exceed targets. The environment is flexible although we will expect the successful candidate to be office based in Berkshire, especially at the start of your career with this business for 2/3 days per week.

Salary for the role will be to £75k doe plus car allowance, benefits package and OTE.
