Delivery Owner (Delivery Manager), £40,000-£50,000, 100% Remote

Digital Gurus are partnered with a global organisaiton who’s innovative, cloud-based software makes a positive difference in the healthcare industry. They are looking for a skilled Delivery Lead / Delivery Manager / Owner to join their expanding tech team in the UK and look after 2-3 squads on a remtoe basis!

Key Responsibilities:

As the Delivery Owner, your role will be to assess where the teams are at, some are established scrum / kanban teams and others don’t have any processes in place. You will use your agile / delivery expertise to ensure process and best practices are in place to best enable high performing, successful teams.

• Facilitating Agile (scrum/Kanban) ceremonies for multiple teams inc. retrospectives, daily stand-ups, sprint planning
• Work closely and collaboratively with the development manager, other delivery owners & product
• Manage the teams day to day delivery, ensure everyone in the team is clear on goals and project scope
• Regular communication with stakeholders, updating them on current state of development
• Remove blockers that affect the plan / develop plans for difficult situations
• Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement
• Contribute to scrum-at-scrum or scrum-at-scale activities
• Become the expert of the product to understand and solve any problems effectively

Skills required:

The successful Delivery Owner (Delivery Lead / Manager) will be passionate about forming motivated teams, delivering high quality software and passionate about working on software that actually makes a difference.

• Proven experience in a similar role in an agile development environment (as a delivery lead, delivery manager, scrum master)
• Familiar with software product development life cycles
• Experience managing and delivering multiple projects
• Flexible with the delivery approach – able to evaluate where teams are at and understand and adapt processes or delivery methods to suit different teams / use a blended approach if necessary
• Effectively able to communicate with technical and non-technical teams / stakeholders
• Senior Stakeholder management – build relationships with stakeholders, manage expectations
• scaled Agile experience is a plus!
• Scrum Master / Agile certifications are preferred
