Digital Gurus are partnered with a people focused, design-led consultancy who due to exceptional work and a rapidly growing client based are seeking passionate User Experience Designers (UX) to join their team. The organisation are ‘tech for good’ focused and pride them impactful, meaningful and interesting.

What will I be doing as the UX Designer?

You will be a consultant, utilising a user centred approach and your design expertise to lead & aid clients on creating world class, widely accessible digital products, and services. You will be able to effectively adapt to a variety of clients and different project demands. This will keep the role and your day-to-day exciting and different!

• Creating the optimal user experience, designing high quality end-end user journeys
• Understand and integrate user insight and research, use this to identify pain points and use these to inform design decisions
• Designing and building digital product designs for larger flows and smaller features
• Lead the creation of documentation, user flows, annotated wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• Running and participating in design workshops and sprints with your team and stakeholders
• Design, prototype, and test
• Encourage design innovation, user centred design and best practice
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment

What skills do I need to be the successful UX Designer?

• Experience as a UX Designer in an agile environment
• End-end UX Design – understanding scope, using research, prototyping, designing, testing
• A User Centred Design mindset – having an understanding of UCD principles and practices
• Strong innovative desire, always investigating and developing emerging UX/Design/ Technology trends
• Consultancy / client facing skills
